Its the 24th November and this time next month it will be Christmas Eve!!!

 

BUT here at Fusion Flowers Birmingham we have been waiting all year to share these fabulous festive photos with you.

 

Back on the hottest day of the year!!! 24th May 2012 we were invited by the fabulous Sue Page of Icethecake.co.uk to be involved in a Christmas photo shoot...

...and i couldn't wait to get our fabulous Santa, cinnamon sticks, sliced oranges and gold glitter out!!!

A Touch of Colour...

Way back on the 24th May 2012 we were invited along to an amazing photo shoot organised by Sue Page from Ice The Cake - Every Ingrediant For Your Wedding, hosted at Worton Park, Cassington, Oxfordshire...

Sue had told me the theme for the shoot and i was so excited to be invited to be part of such a wonderful shoot and to work along side some amazing wedding suppliers...

 I couldnt wait to get started on these designs and i was really nervous when they were shown to Sue Page, a behind the scenes pictures prooved Sue liked them (Yes she was jumping up and down!!!)...

The theme for the shoot was all about colour! Neon and everyone had done an amazing job!!!

I created two designs from Foam Roses. Hand Tied Design and i created a Heart shaped design using  bo frame and accesories!

I used Fresh Yellow Roses, Cerise Germini and Shamrock Blooms in the table design which was complimented by Cerise Sisal, Medallino Sticks and Lime Beaded Wire...

The cake had been created by Helen of Sweetness & Delight Celebration Cakes and i was absoloutly amazed by the fabulous colours not only on the outside but the actual cake was an array of sunshine!!!! Bet it tasted nice too!!!

Our fabulous friend Haley Jane from Haley Jane Events and Wedding Planner, based in Birmingham, had supplied these amazing Pom Pom Trees and Candy Trees which went so well with our flowers and infact really made a nice touch to the shoot!!!

 This Candy Tree is definately my favourite!! :) 

The dresses were absoloutly beautiful and i also believe that our Heart Design from this shoot is now on show in the showroom of Bicester Bridal, Bicester, Oxfordshire who had supplied all these gorgeous dresses!

AND THEN......

And of course bringing the whole shoot together was the lovely Jay Mountford of Jay Mountford Photography, based in Birmingham. Jay has done an amazing job with the shoot and i am so over the moon with every single picture taken of our flowers. I also believe that Jay had always wanted to shoot underwater, before i knew it our flowers and one of the lovely models were underwater and Jay was snapping away!!!

I absoloutly love this picture!!!! and such a pleasure to be involved in not only Nuts about Neon but an underwater photo shoot too!!!

All that is left for me to say is that i hope you all enjoy these photos as much as i do and a big thank you to Sue Page for the opportunity to be involved. Thank You

Photo Shoot – Thursday 14^th June 2012

What a pleasure it was to be asked to be invited to attend and show some of our floral design at this fabulous photo shoot organised By Susie Styler of Susie Styler Photography and Midlands Vintage Chic Wedding Fair ‘Vintage Chic at the Flicks’ Photo Shoot.

I was given the specification for the day and began creating. I was so excited to be involved!!! We was going with a neutral theme to begin with reflecting that back in the day all film was black and white, this inspired me to use neutral shades including creams, ivory and silvery browns and the use of Norma Jean Roses, Viburnum, Hydrangea, Carnations, Eustoma, Phlox and Physocarpa complemented the Mirrored Candelabra really well and looked striking along with the amazing Cake and Stationary...

And you have got to check out these amazing Invites and Save the Date Cards created by the fabulous Studio Seed...

Well, Ive heard of Lollipops but never Cake Pops!!! Well i was amazed by this fab idea and something i will definately be telling all my brides about in the future!!! These cake pops were created by Miss Lolas Bakehouse who also provided the beautiful cake that just looks stunning next to our candelabra!!!

Then we moved onto the Electric Cinema...

To reflect the Red used within the Venue and the accessories used at the photo shoot I created two bridal designs...

To create the vintage bridal bouquets I used stunning Naomi Roses, Sweet William, Alstromeria and Hypericum Berry...

Firstly, a beautiful Hand Tied Design...

...and secondly a stunning Shower Bouquet Design.

We had an amazing day! and met some lovely suppliers. Such a Giggle!!! Cant wait to work with everyone in the future and to see everyone again at the vintage chic wedding fair in October 2012!!!
